The thermometer fulfills the corresponding safety requirements due to various certificates and tests. The use of a transmitter leads to higher accuracy and reliability in comparison to directly wired sensors.

The TMT162C thermocouple thermometer comprises a measuring insert with a type J or K thermocouple and an electronic field transmitter with HART^®, FOUNDATION Fieldbus^™ or PROFIBUS^® PA protocol.
